Spring Break: Day Two

We spent our first full day in Mexico walking and shopping around Ahuatepec. Here Albert, Amy, Katie, Kristen, Jacob and Richard pose with the bootleg DVD's they bought from a street vendor. "Los Fockers: La familia de mi esposo," "El Aviator," and "Hitch" were each purchased for about 15 pesos (or $1.50).

Kristen, Jacob, Albert, Amy and Richard stroll by the cathedral in Ahuatepec.

Front Row: Kristen and Katie Back Row: Albert, Amy, Richard and Brad - The group poses by the Ahuatepec cathedral.

Brad plays in the fountain at the church.

A local vendor sales a "mesh-ee-la-da" (Ingredients: Lime juice, worstechire sauce, Tabasco sauce, beer and salt around the rim)

Katie and Brad enjoy the meshilada.

Kristen and Amy made the group stop at this aquarium shop... because you can't find those back in the states.

Amy poses next to the garden gremlins. Sadly none of these cute little lawn ornaments made it back to the states with us.
