Spring Break: Day Four
As you can tell by the looks on Albert, Brad and Kristen's' faces, our cab driver to the pyramids of Xochicalco ("so-chi-cal-co") was freakin' crazy.
Jacob (TSU), Katie and Richard sit on the steps of Xochicalco.

Richard takes over at Xochicalco as the new ruler of the Mexican countryside.

For our service project we worked at an after-school lunch/tutoring program called "Vamos." There are 21 different "Vamos" locations throughout the city and our group split up amongst them. Here some younger children eat lunch and pose for the camera.

The local children doing arts and crafts after school.

One of the girls works on her homework at "Vamos."

Some of the older kids at "Vamos" The program serves children ages 5-15.

The local students and volunteers at "Vamos."

As we left, there was a big performance going on in the center of town (Cuernavaca) with dancers and drums.

Katie, Kristen, Amy and Richard took forever crossing the street because they know that Mexican cab drivers stop for NOTHING! Albert and Brad wait impatiently on the other side.
